About the Festival

The California Next Gen Film Festival (NGFF) is a 3-day groundbreaking cinematic event featuring cutting edge filmmakers. The festival showcases directors advancing the film genre in the digital revolution. Filmmakers of all levels are invited to share their unique visions with a California audience at the second annual NGFF! We will be recognizing several feature films and up to 30 short films from narratives and documentaries to digital animation projects.

The festival will take place at the Sacramento Memorial Auidtorium in Sacramento, CA from September 23rd-September 25th, 2010.

The festival features an opening night gala with celebrities, dinners and events throughout the festival, and finishes up with an evening awards ceremony and party.
